How to read effectively in night class

Reading in night class is like an headache to most people, some people find it very difficult to read well without sleeping and most times wonder how others read in night classes without any problem.
Just to brief you, anybody can read in the school at night, no matter your gender, age just follow these tips below:

  1. Take the subject you like reading and find interesting along with you, and not the one the whole department hates
  2. Make sure you eat before going to night class but do not eat too much
  3. When going with someone, make sure you go with a person who is willing to read and not fund of cracking jokes and sleeping all through
  4. Do not go with too much group of people. There's a high tendency that you won't read at all or maybe just a little
  5. For some people, reading with earpiece helps in driving sleep. You must not wear it all through but can listen to a lil bit of music when you feel dizzy and take it off when you don't feel sleepy anymore
  6. Take a jotting note. Just reading all through could get boring, so you could take a little note or jotter to write out points. Apart from preventing sleep, it's also a good way to read as the simplified note can be read later on for revision coupled with the fact that most people tend to remember what they've written with their hands.
  7. Concentrate on your book and avoid looking around at other people who may be sleeping, discussing or looking at you as well
  8. Always take a sweater to prevent cold during cold nights. Feeling cold is a major cause of sleep and when cold you can only read less or maybe not at all
  9. Do not take too much books along with you. Go with a maximum of 2 books as taking too much books would lead to confusion as the one to read and you may end up changing books every minute which will make you not fully concerned and focused in any of them
  10. Avoid reading somewhere too far from your hostel or house as going there at night could be stressful and you may end up getting tired even before you start reading. Also going back to your hostel the next morning would definitely be very stressful and tiring
  11. Do not read in a place where you know you'll see too many people you know, as they will definitely be a distraction to you
  12. Make sure you have enough rest and sleep during the day before going for night class
  13. Make sure you don't have early morning class the next day. It gives you little or no time to relax for the class and you may end up sleeping all through the class or may not even attend at all
  14. Make sure you read in a safe and secured place/environment so you can feel free and relaxed when reading
  15. When you are tired relax a bit and when you feel sleepy make sure you sleep and not force yourself to read while dizzy. If you sleep, you will wake up later to continue reading  but if you keep reading while dizzy, you'll only make yourself look funny and not getting anything into your head as well
  16. Do not take your valuable equipment, devices and too much money to night class. If you must, make sure you keep them well, safe  and avoid flaunting them around to prevent them from being stolen as there are lots of people whose aim to night class is to steal. So prevent yourself from being a victim to theft and robbery.
With these in mind, you can go to night class without facing issues and achieve yor aim in any institution.
